NewsAlinatur

Alinatur has renewed its partnership agreement with Lorca Town Council in line with the "Urban Feral Cat Colony Management Protocol", based on the "Trap, Neuter and Return" (TNR) strategy. This agreement, promoted by the municipal Veterinary Services since February 2021, has the primary aim of providing quality food for the feral cat colonies, thereby improving their health and welfare for the benefit of the community.

The agreement provides for the delivery of 2,300 kilos of dry pet food, worth 18,000 euros, distributed by the Veterinary Services to the 8 authorised colonies in the municipality. The mayor, Fulgencio Gil Jódar, highlighted the importance of this partnership and announced the continuation of research projects to improve the life cycle of feral cats.

Fulgencio Gil Jódar thanked ALINATUR for its willingness to sign the agreement, highlighting the company's more than 75 years of experience in the animal nutrition sector and its commitment to animal welfare worldwide, with a presence in more than 65 countries. This renewed agreement reflects Lorca's ongoing commitment to the protection and care of urban feral cat colonies.
